About coworking

Coworking is where work meets play. Basically, there are four ingredients:

  1. Flexble workspaces
    Coworking gets you out of those never-ending lease agreements. Instead, you can pick and choose from various office setups – and change as your business evolves. It’s all about tailoring your workspace to fit your exact needs – right now.

  2. Sharing is caring
    The whole idea with coworking is sharing workspace and functions intelligently. Your company might not need a full-on kitchen, a swanky bar, a coffee wonderland, an outdoor gym, or a conference room all to itself. But hey, you’d still love to have access to all that good stuff, right? By sharing it with other companies, you get access to all the workplace pizzazz at a better, more budget-friendly price. And hey, it’s pretty good for the climate as well. So, everybody wins. Literally.

  3. Network included
    In a coworking space, you naturally become a part of a bigger network of people and businesses. You’ll bump into each other at the coffee machine, at events, and during activities. Who knows what’s next? Maybe it’s a casual lunch, an after-work hangout, or a brand-new collaboration.

  4. Delegate the grunt work
    A membership with us includes all the office services you can (or cannot) think of. Someone else takes care of cleaning, deals with the internet connection, and makes sure there’s always ink in the printer, paper in the bathroom, and coffee in the brewer. So you can focus on what you do best – your work.

Regular Office Hotels are all about designating every square inch to productive office space. You share few or no spaces with others.

With Coworking on the other hand, you get a private office (which many United Spaces members do), but you also share other areas, like the lounge, front desk area, and meeting rooms. Plus, you get to be part of this great network of businesses, with a ton of extra perks, inspiring atmosphere and new connections.

Unlike Office Hotels, coworking is the whole package. It includes everything from events and lunchtime workouts to breakfast buffets and after-work gatherings (that you can enjoy every week, without the hassle of arranging them).

Office Hotels are typically a temporary solution. And sure, coworking can be temporary too, thanks to flexible contracts. However, at United Spaces, our members tend to stick around for years anyway. Maybe they stay because they like it? We like to think so.

We’ll take care of everything: from setting up a nice breakfast buffets to after-work gatherings, and all the little details that need to be in place. But, alright, let’s get real. These are the downsides:

One could be sharing space with strangers. If you love to work completely alone, sharing your office with people you don’t know (yet) might not be your jam. Another could be that you’ll have a little less control over details. For example, what the theme of this month’s inspiration event will be (but hey, we’re all ears if you have suggestions). Or how the space looks (you can deck out your private office exactly how you like it).

So, there you have it! All in all, coworking is pretty awesome. (Okay, we might be a tad biased, but hey, remember that you asked us!)

Basic info

United Spaces has ten awesome coworking spots all around the country. You’ll find us in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Uppsala, Jönköping, Malmö, and Helsingborg.

If you’re a member, you’ve got access to our spaces 24/7, 365 days a year. With two exceptions though: In Uppsala, we’re open every day between 5 AM and midnight and at Torsgatan in Stockholm you’re welcome any time between 5.30 AM and midnight. So, it’s almost always open if you ask us. So, feel free to drop by when it suits you.

If you’re not a member and just want to try us out for a day, you’re more than welcome when our front desks are in action. Weekdays from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. At Stockholm Waterfront, the front desk is open an hour longer, making it Weekdays between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Swing by (almost) whenever!

At United Spaces at Torsgatan in Stockholm, you can have your own office and bring your four-legged buddy along. We’ve got chew toys and water bowls, the whole deal! At our other coworking spots, though, it’s pet-free to keep the peace.

Finding a parking spot close to our coworking spaces is usually a breeze. Just chat with the staff and we’ll help you out.

We’re pumped that you want to see what we’re all about! Booking a tour on our website is super simple. Just pick the right coworking spot and hit that “Book a Tour” button.

You bet! We provide showers, soap, shampoo/conditioner, and clean towels at all our coworking spaces. It’s the perfect pick-me-up after a midday workout – or perhaps a serious negotiation.

Absolutely! If you’re a member, our spaces are open 24/7, all year round. At Torsgatan 26, we’re open from 5:30 AM to Midnight and in Uppsala it’s 5:00 AM to Midnight. All other coworking spaces are open all around the clock.

You got it! Feeling good is the name of the game, and that’s why your membership includes fitness options.

We’ve got running, yoga, and boot camp sessions at most of our coworking spots. Check out the “Life at Work” app to see what’s happening at your spot right now.

Not into group workouts? Maybe you’re more of a gym rat. Many of our coworking spots have gyms right nearby.

Absolutely! Just make sure to inform the front desk about your guests.

Many of our events are open for all. The event invitation will always specify if it’s for members only. If it doesn’t mention anything, feel free to join! (And you can always check with the staff at the specific coworking location if you’re unsure.)

Membership

As a member, you can work at any of our 10 coworking locations throughout Sweden. But hey, you will always have one primary location, making sure that you and your colleagues are still anchored to reality. No matter where you chose to work, we promise you an inspiring work environment, available 7 days a week (and almost any hour you can think of).

There are three types of memberships:

  • Private office (available in various sizes, from small to large)

  • Dedicated desk (you have a desk that’s exclusively yours)

  • Lounge (where you work in our comfortable lounge areas).

The idea is that you and your company can customize your office solution according to your specific needs and simply adjust it whenever necessary. Many companies choose to combine a private office with additional lounge spaces or dedicated desks. This is super convenient when employees work partly remote, but still want to get some inspiration from meeting other people in the office on specific days.

All our memberships are designed to simplify your office life and make it genuinely enjoyable. We’re all about the small details that enhance your workday – think freshly brewed coffee, invigorating lunchtime workouts, clean towels for a post-exercise shower, a perfectly tuned printer, and a warm front desk team to greet you and your guests daily.

And to sweeten the deal, we have a delightful daily treat for you:
Monday: Fresh fruit to complement your afternoon coffee.
Tuesday: A breakfast buffet that’s an absolute must-try.
Wednesday: Treat yourself to a candy buffet during your afternoon break.

Need your own office? No problem. We have everything from tiny nooks to great halls. With your own place, you can do as you please. Either you just move in and start working or you create a world of your own – without missing a beat of what’s happening right outside.

Conference rooms are not included in your membership, but feel free to make a reservation whenever you need to use them. We have many great event and conference spaces that’ll suit any group. Just tell our staff and they’ll be happy to help you find the right fit.

Well, flexibility is kind of our thing! With short notice periods between 1 to 3 months, we offer you the control you desire. Please ask us for specific terms for the membership option that you’re interested in.

Of course! As a member, you’re always welcome to work from any of our 10 locations around Sweden. Just visit during regular office hours, check in with our front desk team, and settle in for as long as you like.

Yes, we do, but they are very brief, given the fact that we really like flexibility. Depending of what membership you choose, the period ranges from 1 to 3 months.

Yes! If you need to drop in occasionally, our day passes are readily available. You can buy them online or visit any of our locations during regular hours (weekdays from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM). We’ll be here to welcome you!

We’ve got all sizes! Small rooms, perfect for 2 to 3 people, but also large event venues that can welcome up to 80 people. Browse through our meeting rooms or event spaces to find your perfect fit.

Most of our meeting rooms come equipped with state-of-the-art meeting technology. Our on-site team will be there to ensure everything runs smoothly. For those special occasions, some of our coworking locations even offer podcast studios for rent. Rest assured, our team will assist you with all your tech needs.
